For Doctors
Dr Staermose will need to review a referral before your patient is booked in, to ensure appropriate appointment allocation for urgent patients. If you are concerned that your patient’s condition has deteriorated whilst awaiting review, feel free to send an updated referral or contact Dr Staermose to discuss.
Please note that a suspected new diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes should be discussed directly with Dr Staermose (or an endocrinologist at your usual referring hospital), as hospital admission may be required for stabilisation.
Dr Staermose is able to see patients aged 14 years and over. Please note that some adolescent patients, particularly those with delayed puberty or growth disorders, may be better directed to a paediatric/adolescent endocrinologist.
Dr Staermose welcomes correspondence and referrals via Medical Objects.
